    What are you running?

Hooked up a boost gauge finally

    24psi @ 2500~4500rpm, 18@5000rpm, 15@5500rpm, 10@6000rpm.

How does everyone elses drop off?

24psi with whos chip seems very high, and out of the little ko3 range

I hit 17 but levels out around 15

I think I have a boost leak somewhere.

thats still pretty good to be level at 15psi, alot of cars wont hold 15psi that strong

i doubt you have a leek man running 17psi, as the apr chip limits you to 1bar=14psi no mater what you do to the car,

Not sure what GIAC file I have - I'd have to ask Seb
No boost spikes - It's smooth as it builds/drops off.

This is in 3rd gear, should be a touch higher in 4th/5th apparently.

lol @ sig - It doesn't hold that sort of boost for long - I feel like a liar :p

on a K03 or K03S all 20 psi + of boost (1.3 bar) is going to do is prematurely wear out a turbo!

Even 1.4 bar on an S3 K04 is the maximum effecient boost!

17 psi is at the very, very top of a K03 compressor map.

Here is a thread from 5 years ago where they map a K03 in regard to a 1.8T engine.

If you are making 24+ psi on a K03, check your boost guage / connection / location & make sure its fully accurate

LOL, yeah there's nothing better than a boost gauge that adds 5-10 psi to your readings. Best bang-for-buck boost upgrade ever.

Had a quick read of that thread, seems 24psi is fine on the ko3S but not ko3. (Because it runs a ko4 compressor wheel = ko4 compressor map)
