Cabin filter/Pollen filter Mk4 GTI

Hi All, I am hoping someone can tell me where to find the Cabin filter/Pollen filter on my Mk4 GTI and how to change same.

i am not sure but i would suggest the same as this.was the same in my daughter in laws MK5 GTI.

Negative.

On the MK4, open the bonnet, on the passenger's side at the base of the windscreen on the plastic trim, you'll see 3 screws to a panel that is removable. Behind there is the pollen filter.

Is for LHD but ours just mirror this. (Still a good way to scratch up your hands getting the old filter out and the new one back in!)

Did this yesterday.
Took the opportinuty to dump 1/4 can of Glen 20 in there too.
