  • Intermittent power loss 1.8t agu

I have a agu 1.8t in my golf mk2 running standard tuned ecu. I've recently been getting a misfire that will come and disappear on it's own. I tried changing coil packs with no change. Anyone have any ideas?

Spark plugs but really you should have it scanned first. The ECU is pretty dumb but you never know it might have seen a crank position sensor going off.

Other favourites are the ignition amplifier. All the broken ones I have seen just died on one cylinder they weren't intermittent.

Spark plugs most likely... But clean your maf and tb first..

Clean out all your plugs, and check ICM! just had mine go... Sounds similar! It cuts in and out and sounds a little like you dropped a cylinder.. $60 at a wreckers and don't get conned always go Bosch.!
        Best of luck
