  • Mk4 gti, locally sourced VR6 clutch kit + g60 flywheel?

    Hi guys,

I've been due for a new clutch for well.. 6 months now.
I'm fairly set on a Sachs vr6 clutch kit and g60 flywheel. Techniutch on eBay have the exact kit I need for $500 delivered to my door. But after reading some reviews of their service. Ide rather not deal with them. A lot of places i have tried to get prices from either don't get back to me or only deal with exedy. I mean it's practically an oem replacement. How hard is it to get? Does anyone know of a place in Melbourne that can get these in?

    Thanks in advance.

Have you looked on ecs tuning? Tim at dub addiction now does bulk orders and he is based in melbourne so maybe you could order through him?

Wow that is a good price.

Much less than the bora bugger before me paid for the clutch and flywheel on my 4mo.

is this a better option than the ECS Stage 1 for our cars.
I might be due soon too

It's a high quality part that'll cost a lot less than ecs.

it was about $580 for SM flywheel + vr6 clutch kit.

very reasonable if you ask me. especially as it's locally sourced.

at Matt knows his stuff, definitely recommend.

Thanks guys. I reckon the standard flywheel is better than aftermarket one. Only trouble is availability. The solid flywheel you want comes on 16v cupras. Early golf 3 tdis and 4 cylinder t4s. Not many available down under. Then just add vr6 clutch kit and appropriate bolts and away you go.
