Larger Oil Filter

Hey guys I must have missed this one.
I've just seen the larger OEM oil filter for the 1.8T on the ECS website.
Anyone using them.
I've always used the stock OEM one and had no sludging issues but I would imagine having a larger filter would increase oil capacity and be a good thing for a chipped car?
