Hi all!
Just wondering if this has been covered in this forum yet? And if so could someone point me in the right direction to check it out? Would like to have a look at how others have done it before we attempt too!! (Or does anyone have any tips or advice? )

there has been a couple done in the last few years.
Check out Stan's conversion, also JamesDean, however I dont recall James putting up too much info/photos

My advice, get a whacked donor and have the 2 side by side. Nothing that will blow your budget more in the long run than trying to source all the parts separately.

Secondly, there's a lot to be said for not building a car that you can buy. ie Just get yourself a GTI and save the trouble.
