  • Immo light - fast blinking

Hi all - attempted to code 2 keys tonight with vagtacho but failed to do so.

After the old keys were deleted - the immobilizer starts blinking at a faster pace than the normal 'immobilizer activated'.
The light will not turn off - just stays blinking rapidly.

    Has anyone experienced this before?
I've noticed that there's a ground wire near the ignition barrel that has been cut - is this supposed to be connected to a pin on the barrel? I can't seem to find a pinout or a good reference picture.

    Thanks - Matt

If the car was running before you started to code another key then wiring will not effect your coding...not sure how good these after market coders are...are your keys genuine? Sometimes even at the dealer coding keys can be a issue at times....and thats with the proper online server to germany...VDUB...

I take it you have 1 old key and 1 new....try just recoding the original key on its own
