  • extended ball joints ?

    Hi guys ..
We all know how lowering a mk4 does all kinds of wonderful things to the geometry which affects tye way the car behaves in cornering ..

Im wondering if there is anything oit there for mk4s that could be used to help even the geometry of the control arms for a better steering control ..

Basically what I found .. and I have been searching for a while .. was extended ball joints for mk2 and mk3s .. but nothing for a mk4 .. has anyome else looked into this ?

    Cheers
    Sam

Could always just get the thread extended/welded and run a spacer/drilled out bolt?

I have two brand new sets of Ingalls camber adjusters (ball joint extenders) for MK4 that are left over from old projects. You can have them for $240 a pair:

These extend the ball joint to keep you roll center high after lowering and it appears to allow camber adjustment with the slotted holes too.Roll Center/Bumpsteer Correction Kit : USRT, Usually Sideways Rally Team

Early Audi TT spindles and control arms are also often used to correct lowering issues.
