Thanks Brian for keeping the gti ones aside for me. I have now sourced some genuine R32 ones off vortex.

Nice one mate, would love a set of R seats as well! Another mate over here has recently put a set into his Bora Yeah the rear headrests from the R32 are taller than the GTI cloth set so that might be reason they got swapped. I never realised that R32 had been written off after they hit the barrier.

Found myself a pair of front seats at WA DOVW last weekend - so happy!

Quick question Eri (or anyone else who has swapped them) - I have an 03 GTI, so I'm wondering if the wiring for the heated seats will be in place already in the loom for my current seats, or will I need to retro fit the heater wiring as well as the switches?

Awesome! Congrats on the purchase! There was no wiring for heated seats - would have to be put in with the switches. Mine is an 01 model - could be different to the later models??

Nope, harness won't be there. Kufatec make one that's OEM quality.

bit off topic but realised something about my seats (gti golf into bora) the other day. I no longer have the option to lock the back seats. Was a great security idea for the bora. Mustnt have used it since putting the seats in. Might investigate if its possible to add
