I'll chop it where it splits off into two and have it 3" from there back into the cat. From there it will be straight 3" to the reamus box I currently have but I'm going to change the tips on it to something less chunky.
This will all be done at the same time as my new FMIC will be fitted. All of that piping will also be done in polished stainless. I'm amazed at how much the FMIC actualy weighs. The Aust post label only says 4.8kg but it sure feels heavier...

Todays been a busy day, I have another update! lol
I've been doing a lot of research into turbo intake pipes. I was thinking Samco originaly, but I stumbled accross a few threads on the tex where they discussed a brand name autobahn88. They have recieved mostly excelent reviews, and at $US100 less than their Samco equivilent I've decided I'll bite the bullet and give it a go. Total coast shipped is $US105.
I was a bit cautious about these prior to another discussion I had with another member here who also purchased one and hasn't looked back.
Here's a pic:
Once that arrives, I'll be almost ready to rock n roll!!!

Looks just like my Forge one ... but different colour.
I'll bet back to you on that Dave, I just have the core at the moment, I'll be getting all the piping done custom in stainless. That will be the most expensive part of it...

purchased a fair bit from them too, very good quality in my opinion, just make sure you get the small stickers off from inside the hoses
To date the parts I have include:
- K04-023
- S3 injectors
- S3 manifold
- S3 dump (on it's way)
- 4 Bar FPR
- FMIC core
- TIP (on it's way)
- Silicone Hose Kit (on it's way)
I still need to get all the bolts, gaskets and oil/coolant return lines wich is going to be another $700 plus. Ialso have the expense of tuning and also the labour involved. I've got the coin to do it, but I want to spend it wisely.
I'm thinking I might just do the FMIC for now (it's pretty universal) and save a bit more and get a quaife or a pelequin LSD plus an ECS stage 1 clutch sent also before I embark on this little build. The more I read into it, the more I'm begining to think my standard one will not last long and since we'll already be under there, I might as well do the LSD now also. Obviouslty this is a significant added expense and has completly blown out my budget but I'm thinking it might be best to do it once and do it right.
Or, I might just do the clutch for now and hold out for a while and do the LSD at a later date.... Hmmmmmmmm... Decisions.
