  • Looking sweet as mate. Now you just need to scavenge yourself an R32 steering wheel and some R32 pedals as well.
Loving the wheels. Could they possibly be anymore agro.
    Good stuff.

    • Ok - so I've come to a bit of a T road on where to head next with my car. Those who have been around long enough will remember me saying that I wanted to focus on performance first then make it pretty. I still can't believe I've only had this car now for about 10 months! How quickly time flys. My question to ya'll is where should I go next.

I've been spending a lot of time of late researching larger turbos than the el'crapo K03, and other assorted harware that goes along with it. To date I have basicly done all I can with this tiny but mighty unit and it's time she was put to rest. My other option is to continue along the path that I seem to have deviated down by doing the nice little touches to make her pretty.

If I go back to the go go juice plan then I'll be doing it once and doing it properly wich will mean pretty big bucks. What I'm looking at is going to involve a larger turbo and suitable manifold, larger injectors, a new after market ECU, LSD, clutch and flywheel, upgraded associated plumbing and FMIC. I've just started to price the various components and compare options and their advantages and disadvantages.

The other option would be to spend some money to rejuvinate her back to her former glory with a bit of OEM+ flavouring. She is a daily beater and as all daily beaters do they get the odd shopping trolly kiss, a few altercations with flying objects and a bit of belly flopping on verticaly enhanced driveways.

She's not exactly in bad condition, but I wouldn't call her show stopping material either.

Do I stop spending moeny on little gimmicks and focus my antention on doing the motor once and for all (hopefully touches wood) or do I keep pimping her out?

Do what you want to do - not what others want you to do.

Otherwise you'll get the feeling that your own pride and joy isn't what you wanted it to be, but what others wanted it to be.

        My 2c.

Wise words... Was just throwing the idea out there to see if I could gain any more from others perspectives.

              • perhaps split things into two, get lsd clutch and flywheel done at once then the next big upgrade would be turbo, injectors and standalone.

ur car is pretty immac last time i saw it, still nice and shiny.

                • Considering its a daily, i wouldnt go too overboard with stuff. you will be shattered if you blow something up or have someone destroy you paint etc etc. Ive fallen out of love even more with my car as of last night. the passenger window was smashed and **** stolen.

                      • Neil. I'd go performance. aint nothing better than a sleeper.

and besides there isn't much you can do in the way of body kits and stuff. sure there are some, but you run the risk of becoming ricey imo.

kept it clean looking, and worry about paint and stuff later. as a daily you'll always get scratches etc. so no use if you end up scuffing up your fancy body kit or something.

                        and finally, to quote J.Clarkson

                        POOWWAAAHHHHHHH

EDIT: actually, I realise now, how that could possibly look like poo-wah. It's meant to read power. just incase you aren't familar with J.Clarkson

                        • Ko3s or Ko4 never hurt anyone.

Ko4 done right should see a decent increase in power and no loss in the reliability corner.
