also what did you put in the dish washer as soap/detergent? or did you just use the hot water/rinse cycle?
A woolworths (safeway for you mexicans) 'select' brand dish washer cube. Nothing fancy - just put it on pot's/heavy duty style. Make sure if you do it that you pull it out of the dish washer whilst it's still warm and re-insert it on the bumper. I'm not too sure how it would handle the heat.

before painting you should use a paint cleaner anyhow because even soon as you touch something with your finger you'll end up putting oil on it ..

Thanks but it's about time I did a bit of DIY on this thing. Everything to date has been off the shelf - it's about time I did a bit of DIY to show off my lack of skils.

After coping heaps about having loads of things but none of wich are fittend to my car I got to work today to do somethings I had been putting off for ages.
First up - Replacement LED globes for number plates. There's no point in showing you pictures yet cause it's not dark yet! I also installed white LED's into the doors where the curtosey/puddle light is.
Ive Done LED Globes for my Plate Lights It lookes awesome altho they dont spread light as nicely as a filament bulb!
Ive gone for a Super White type Lighting for my Car (my GTI i went blue lighting to match the Dials yada yada)
I did CCFL Lights in my Boot that are Super White better than the ****ty awful standard boot light (singular!!!)
I did away with my Puddle Lights completly (aka disconnected them) and made my own
they look the bizzo at night
They have to be Wide Angle LEDs so they spread light evenly
Just picked them up and wow they look bloody amazing! The quality of these adapters is second to none - I have never in my life seen metal working done to this kind of perfection.
But I have another small road block - I need to shorten down 10 bolts. So the wheels aren't quite on yet. Soon - very soon.
