I remember test driving the mk4 R32 - (similar-ish spec-wise) when it came out and Solitaire in Adelaide had them priced around $75,000 ... Just curious what the fully optioned Bora Sport was worth back in the day - was it a $70,000 car?

my gti is the first FWD car ive owned in... 9 years... whilst i love driving it, i really am not comfortable going hard in the wet, and traction is a massive issue without awesome tyres and crap road surfaces.
but at the end of the day, i was downsizing from an XR8 pursuit and i wanted to go back to a turbo setup and something small. the GTI ticks *most* boxes for me.'02 GTI (clicky) - REFLEX SILVER - VIEZU race tune. No chit. I'm used to US prices and a HUGE VAG scene. V6 boras always feel heavy IMO. I would get chipped GTI mk4, or v5 bora.sigpic Camden GTI Performance. VW / AUDI Specialists

Buddy of mine had a brilliant white bora, only thing wrong with it was that it was an auto.
