Ive got a golf 2001 mk4 2.0L 8v .Ok so I think I need to change: Oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air filter and brakes. Does this cover it also what are some good recommendations for these? thanks.

Depends how far you want to go I guess, as you could also replace the
cabin pollen filter, fuel filter, inspect timing belt, flush/ top up coolant, replace brake fluid/bleed brakes, check replace cracked hoses, replace gear box oil, check/replace control arm bushings ... What service is due by your vehicle log book? I think the Bentley Manual lists what to check at what mileage/ time interval.
