Hey everyone,
Been researching suspension options, and I have read that the ride height of the Mk4 is already at its limits and lowering the car will have negative impacts if tracking a car and result in slower lap times.
Ive also read that getting a set of springs that are of similar ride height to OEM but with an increased spring rate will give better handling characteristics on a track than say lowered coilovers.
In this thread they give options for springs that have an increased spring rate but maintain a roundabout stock ride height.
VWVortex.com - MkIV aftermarket springs at stock ride height LIST
The first springs they mention are 'OEM sport springs'... Do anyone know if this is what comes with the GTI already? Or are they taking about the springs that come with the R32?
Im not sure if ETKA lists different springs ...?
