mod chip on MkIV GTI

just recently bought a 01 GTI and was told it had a Oettinger mod chip on it. coudnt tell the differnce between stock and mine as i havent driven stock yet. is this a good mod chip or is ther better brand or and upgraded chip of the same brand. let us kno. cheers

about 33% more hp... Take 1.75 seconds off 0-100 or therebouts. And that feeling of boost you get, well you'll be stuck to the seat, theres alot of difference. The advantage of driving a Turbo car

well... you mean by drastically increasing the horsepower? Of course! The car standard has a really detuned version of that 1.8t, lowest actually. Great for the average buyer and general consumers, but not for the enthusiast. Come on the next cruise and some of us will definately be willing to show you the difference...

You would get only very small power gains switching to another chip.
