mod chip 4 mkIV GTI

hey all, ive recently bought a 01 GTI and was told it had Oettinger mod on it. Ne good? i got no idea, can tell tha differnece between stock and mod chip. is there ne upgrade chip i can get 4 it? let us kno. cheers

I would establish for sure that it is chipped. If it is chipped I wouldn't go looking to blow more money swapping it for someone else's software.

All chips are much of a muchness. There is a finite amount of power that can be extracted from any engine. The difference between chip manufacturers is purely how close to the edge they are prepared to go.
