  • ECS spark plugs

    Hey guys
Has anyone bought spark plugs from ECS before?

Are they suitable for aus spec cars etc?
I've got a V6 bora. Just wanna make sure they'll be okay before I add them to my group buy list

    Thanks for the help!
    Mitch

    -EDIT: Can I also ask...

Does anyone know what size standard 4mo brake rotors are? front and rear? ECS says Front 288mm/Rear 232mm? but I've read that they are really front 312mm/rear 256mm?

As long as they are the correct part number you've nothing to worry about.

      Looking at NGK plugs

went onto their website to get a part number. Matched it up to ECS
But they have a '6' at the end. I'm correct in assuming that means 6 plugs?

      ECS part number: PZFR5D-11-6
      NGK part number: PZFR5D-11

Check that on NGKs site. Often it means they are gapped for a particular application AFAIK.

The 11 stands for 1.1 gap
Checked the product code on ecs without the 6 and the same plugs, but a 4 pack came up with the same product number and '4' on the end

So it's all sorted. Confident they are the right ones!
          Thanks

The reason it says different size brakes is due to americans only having a FWD VR6 instead of our 4mo VR6 which came with bigger brakes.

All the info you need for brakes

Also i brought the same plugs from them and haven't had an issue.

So found the right rotors on ECS! Lucky I didn't buy the 288's... haha

To get the front right brakes from ECS, use the Mk1 225hp Audi TT as the car model.

For what it's worth, the rear brakes on the Bora V6 4Motion are the same as on the Mk4 Golf R32 (they're just not painted blue).
                    Nothing to see here...

                      Ah sweet.
I managed to find the correct listing for front and rear rotors. Used jetta oem upgrade to find the 312mm, and r32 rear replacement rotors!

So thats all sorted. except pads. but I've sent you a msg about that. so I wont ask twice

                        And PM replied to.

I have the same car (effectively, there were no changes to the brakes between 2001 and 2003). I have an R32 brake upgrade on my car now, but know enough about it to be pretty sure about the answers I'm giving.
