That is the cleanest garage ive ever seen.. ?!

Heh... Yeah I gave it a bit of a cleanup last weekend. As I only have a single garage it's a bit hard to fit too much stuff in there anyway. Especially as I can't open the car doors fully on either side as well. It's actually getting pretty cramped with all my factory car bits that I've replaced with aftermarket stuff. Under the stairs is pretty much full up too.

I'm looking forward to buying my own place in a year or so where I can have a propper garage and/or shed/s where I can go and be a man...

I discovered this morning that my car beeps at me with a snowflake symbol when the ambient temperature hits 4 degrees C and then stays there next to the temperature while still below that 4 degrees. Didn't see any ice on the road though so all good.

It also hit 1 degree this morning according to my MFD. Thank goodness for heated seats and a good heater.

Also as some may have seen in the What Have You Done To Your MkIV Today thread I paid a little visit to APR this afternoon.

APR Cat Back Exhaust (2.5") / Billy Boat Performance Exhauts (Maker Of The APR Exhaust)

Just to note that the APR Exhaust is exactly the same as the B&B exhaust except with APR stamped on the tips.
The main differences between the stock and the new exhaust are:
- Weight (APR/B&B is much lighter, couldn't get over the difference today).
- 2.5" all the way through. Not sure of the stock size but it has a crimp in it where it goes past the subframe.
- 4" Tips
- No Flapper
- No Resonator
- Raspier and louder whilst still maintaining that distinct R32 growl

After all that though I haven't had a chance to go for a good drive yet.
I left the APR workshop straight into peak hour traffic all the way home.
Hopefully I'll get a chance to go for a bit of a drive this weekend even though I've got a bucket load of work to do.

A big thanks to Guy and James again for looking after me. Thanks to James also for putting up with me nosing around whilst he was working on my car.

Also great to catch up with Al (quozl) and Graeme (graeme86) over at Mike Weber's whilst James borrowed his hoist to install the exhaust. Not to often you get to see two MkIV R32s up on the hoists side by side.

Pictures, hopefully a video and some more feedback to come at a later stage.

And for all the Bora V6 4Motion boys out there inspired by qsilverza's thread, no I'm not looking at selling the stock exhaust at this point in time.

The APR exhaust is built by Billy Boat exhaust for APR, so in actual fact it is a Billy Boat exhaust with the APR logo.

Billy Boat are renowned for their Porsche, BMW, Audi and VW exhausts amongst others http://www.bbexhaust.com/

and yes it is the Billy Boat from Nascar racing

The APR one is made by BB, just it has APR stamped on the tailpipes.

So he bought both!

Also forgot to mention that after the exhaust was installed (pre chip) what a difference it made on the short blat back to APR. The car now revs much more freely and quicker with it's lungs opened up.

Short answer, no.
As with anything you ask nicely and you work out a good deal, especially as I bought the chip and zorst as a package.
Also trust me when I say that it'll be very hard to go out there and find a better quality made exhaust than this.

No. The MkIV R32 was a limited run here remember, there's not much of a market here for it really.
