  • Replacement sump part number? For 2002 bora VR6 24v

I managed to punch a hole in the sump (oil pan) on my 2002 bora sport 4motion and am trying to source a replacement.
Engine is 2.8l V6 and engine number has prefix of AUE.
I can get a sump with part No: 021103601L on eBay. But it as listed as being for the BDF and AFP engine. (Golf and Jetta)
    Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi. Could you not repair it? I have seen a few welded sumps that work fine. I realize it depends on the damage, but if you haven't thought about it, might be worth considering. Don't know about numbers sorry. Oh and I have a diesel geek sump guard on mine and recomment them for fitment, quality and strength. All the best.

      Hey,

Quick look on ETKA and awesomely all engines have the same sump. Even the R32. All coming up with part number 021 103 601 L like you had.
But best and most accurate way of checking is to get under your engine and find the part number and check it with that.

        Thanks for that.
Checked on sump and no part numbers are visible. May be inside but will find out when sump is off.
Just noticed I should replace at least one CV boot as well, and while I'm there........

        Cheers.
