2000 Bora v5 2.3L - CD PLAYER/TAPE DECK questions

Hi all, about to pick up a beauty bora. It's a 2000 V5 in swish condition, the only problem is the button to press/switch to the CD player (the stacker is in the boot) is broken - i.e. it has been pressed too hard and now i cannot switch to the Cd player, and hence cannot play any CD's.

Does anyone have any idea if this is an easy fix? I would like to keep the bora original and therefore don't want to buy a new Headunit.

Does anyone know how to fix this? If not, are there any places in Melbourne which can repair this and approximately how much would i be looking at spending on such a fix.

car came today, had a tinker but no dice so far.

Hi, I don't know of any one that can fix the button, but if you get desperate I have a new head unit for say $250-. Post a pic of the unit just to make sure.

ive taken my head unit out of my 2002 v6 bora and you are welcome to it for like $50-100 if it works with your car (not sure you about codes and all) and if i can still find it
