GTI belts

Hi folks.My 02 GTI will be due new cam / timing belts shortly as it was last done in 08
Should I be replacing water pump etc as recommended by most vdubbers on here.And if so what is the best kit to buy on ECS?? or should I be buying elsewhere.
Too scared to even approach VW for parts.

Be careful with ECS parts for the waterpump/crack pipe - their kit is for LHD vehicles, there are some differences on the RHD vehicles (at least there were on my Bora, I'd be surprised if that's not the case on the GTI too).

Be careful doesn't mean don't do it though - and I can help you with getting the right stuff through ECS if you'd like assistance (I don't charge anything, and may be able to help you get good pricing).
