MK4 headlights - cleaning?

just wondering if anyone can suggest how i can clean the inside of one of my headlights?

there seems to be like a thin film of dirt on the inside of one of the lens's which makes it look 'foggy' compared to the other one

how does the headlight assembly come apart on the MK4's? had a quick look and it seems like a headache....

AFAIK its not the inside but the outside bleaching.

i did the quick option and worked very well, i filled it up with semi veh window cleaner and flushed it out .. came out quite well actually as i had the same problem.

you just have to make sure it dries properly or u will have water marks in it!

No im 99% sure that the dirt is on the inside of the lens rather than the outside fading as if i look very carefully i can see small particles of dirt etc on teh inside of the plastic - the outside is still like new

how did you do this fusion, i take it you somehow washed out the lens?

bumper off, headlights out, bulbs out.. special veh windex stuff basically.. flushed it around.. poured it out.. it dried bad then redid it agian and was all good!
