Mal's issues where to do with the ****ty spec clutch and being stage 3..

I have a 10lb steel in my vr, and its the same as stock, in terms of noise.

I'm thinking that I may go with a Sachs Full Clutch kit, or Sachs Clutch pack and OEM Flywheel

I have SMFW in my R which is also a daily driver, absolutely love it and benefits definitely outweigh slight chatter noise.

I'm thinking that based on reviews and price that a Southbend Stage 2 Daily could be the way to go.
But still yet to decide 100% haha

I'm running stock clutch. The guy that had it before me had it under warranty and when he heard a little noise off it went and a nice new clutch was fitted. So keeping my fingers crossed it'll last me a while yet.

I'll be keeping me eyes on this but to see what route you go down, for future reference of course.

Yeah rear diff as well might aswell.

Hmmmm, no matter which way I go it will be expensive
For price, Southbend (DxD) is looking the best. Sachs could also be a good alternate route.
But the the great SM vs. DM debate occurs
Still unsure, starting to lean towards SM though... I think...

I hav sachs sm steel flywheel with stage 3 clutch...from memory it was $1600 jus to buy clutch kit but i cant tell u install because i had a dodgey mechanic almost ruin my entire gearbox and crank so had alot of other things fixed... it does hav a chatter on idle when clutch isnt engaged but nothing that isnt worth having the awsome bite from the clutch and thevway it revs out now with the smfw

Yeah, I've ordered the Southbend, so hopefully it feels as good as the Sachs

Resurrecting an old thread. Noise coming from gearbox region, gets louder with acceleration, silent when I put the clutch in.

Thoughts? Cheers
