  • Who has 19's on their Mk4 golf

    Howdy all

I have found a set of 19's that I like on good old ebay and just wondering how well they will fit on the golf?

    They are:

    Axis Hiro 19" ( 5x100 )
Staggered in width; Front: 8.5" Rear: 9.5"

Obviously these are realy going to fill the guards but will they be too much.

Here's a few pics for your viewing pleasure:

from memory i think mine are 19" x 8.5" front & back with 225/35. front inner lip slightly rubs on a full turn. back is fine. i think an inch bigger on the back you should still be fine. gpk has a set of wide ones he could help you. the wheels are hot.

I was actually looking at those wheels a few years ago. I suggest you call Ozzy or Tempe or wherever you're getting them from and find out if they will fit your car.

When I was gonna get them, they didn't make them in the right offset.

            They won't fit.

The dude selling them is from Ozaudi

They are too wide in the rear without huge spacers which will no doubt leave them sitting out of the guard on the GTI.

S3s have much wider guards than GTIs and he said they were rubbing on his car.

they were on Jays car originally, rubbing a fair bit and he had spacers on even with those pumped guards!

So you will prob find coilovers being rubbed on and as sov said too!

                19s on the black gti

19x8, no rubbing issues since spacers are on. was rubbing on plastic inner guard a bit but thats worn off now lol
