Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • Water in Bora

    Hi
This morning I found a fair bit of water on the front passenger floor, it had been raining overnight but the door and window were closed and both dry inside. The source seemed to be up behind the glove box? Funny thing is I had a 120k service only done yesterday, didn't notice it when I picked the car up and It's never leaked before?
    Any Ideas? -much appreciated...

The cabin pollen filter is located behind the glove box in the engine bay. Perhaps this filter was changed during your service and not installed properly. Could be worth looking at.
    Cheers.

Might be the sun roof drain.

I did quite a bit of research in regards to water problems when my bora had water in the boot. Most places that i've read about the wet passenger side floor is likely to be a misaligned pollen filter.

Possibly a blocked drain hole but I don't enough to comment further. Good luck!
