Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Cheers fellas
I found the wheels im looking at were once on a r32 on here, he was running these at
18x8 et 22 eg 15mm spacers
19x9 et12 eg 25mm spacers
Do the r32's have different specs for wheel mounting than the gti? They were sitting nice and flush on his car.
If this is the case, best location for hubcentric spacers?
CheersCURRENT: DBP Mk4 Golf .:R34 no. 187 (WOOKY)
Mods: C2 Motorsport Custom Tune | 268/264 schrick cams | Eurospecsport forged rods | JE forged pistons | Miltec Headers back | Higher compression | Engine fully ported | polished balanced crank | Sach Motorsport clutch | Single mass flywheel | Wavetrack LSD | Shortened 4th/5th/6th | etc etc |

Front is slightly different setup too but pretty close. Best to compare fwd with fwd.
I always found 9et30 basically flush on the back of mine. (Check Teledials and merc wheels in the 18x9 section)

most of that model are 7et45 or 55 from memory. (there is a few at et35 but not usually on subarus)
first of all the centre bore will be too small and need to be machined out.
if they are the et45 or 55 they will be either a backwards step on the bigger oem mk4 wheels, or might not fit at all if they are 55
id say a bit expensive being they are standard wheel on some subarus, but depends how much you want them etc

Hello Dylan and SLAJ thanks for the input. The seller mentioned it's a 55. Would this be too big? If what you're saying is true, Dylan, maybe it's better if I look elsewhere for an ET range under 40?
and if anyone knows wheels I'm after that fits my Golf, let me knowcheers
