    Hi fellas, I changed my belt tensioner because i thought it was the one making an annoying squeek.
    i put it back together and Squeek squeek squeek mowderphucka!!!

    but when i sprayed the shaft on the alternator the squeek stopped for abit so recon its alternator anyway my question for you 4 motion v6 mechanics is?????

    Do i need to remove the whole front end bumper, lights, radiator and radiator support to be able to remove a stupid alternator because the space there seems tight

    I would say so after my bull crap.

    Main thing you will need to do is
    drain the coolant and remove hoses
    Remove bumper
    Remove front bar
    And get the bar into the lock carrier position.

      The whole lock carrier comes forward a fair bit. I was able to remove the AC compressor to change the pulley, it did not disconnect the coolant or remove lights etc.
      Google: Move the lock carrier to the service position.
