  • GTI ball joints

Need to replace both front ball joints on my 99 golf GTI.
Is it best to just get a new set of VW or is there a good quality aftermarket that is recommended?
I cant see much other than getting VW factory parts again

    thanks,

cool, wasnt sure if it was only a standard item. Is there any recommended ball joint that may help with handling/steering?
or would they all be pretty much similar

handling/steering can be improved by changing your shocks/springs and/or swaybars. All depends what your after.

If you're in Sydney, Tooley Imports at Waitara sell either genuine parts or brands that are suitable OEM replacements (like Bery, Mahle etc.).
