im sorry guys to say this, but BBS's look awesome when clean, but they get dirty easy and are extremely difficult to clean, broken many nail and bruised the tips of my fingers cleaning my old vr6 rims!! urrrggghhhhhh
I think I have found a solution to my dilema. Just need adapters for them. I've found a set of LM look-a-likes, 18x8 at the front and 18x10 at the rear. Stay tuned to this space over the next month...

light weight is always a good performance option! so long as theyre strong. I have some SSR Competition rims on my MK3. Theyre about 5.5kgs each! made a big difference to the feel of the car

Two possible problems..
a) Adaptors are illegal in australia
b) Do you know how far 10"s will sit outside the guard with adaptors?!
Offset may not be high enough! Adapters are at least 25mm wide (20mm can be made from Motorsport Tech in America, but are expensive). I'd reckon you'd need at least a good fender roll and decent tyre stretch for you to run it with minimal stretch!
