I used O'Briens last year, cost just over $300 I think. No hassles at all

I got a new screen thru O'briens and shannons. Chipped on the drive to work at 8:20. Appointment booked <15 minutes later for no cost.

Good luck if your insurance doesn't cover windscreens (as I found out last month).

Ended up doing it with Instant Windscreens for $430. You don't want to know what Windscreens O'Brien quoted (put it this way, that quote earlier posted by another x 2 at least).

Instant Windscreens completly botched my car. Tried to cut the screen free and totaled the retainer strip, replaced it with one from a Focus, it does not hold the plastic down properly.
Put the mirror on backwards - great for the passenger to use.
Put heat bubbles in the glass trying to remove the mirror to fix.

When my car filled with water 6 months later they took the car in a added a few inches of silicone around the bottom of the windscreen and sent the car back saying they did nothing and it was not their fault.

Other than that I have no problems with them.

Have a look around because in Vic there's a mob that comes out to your place and did a couple of my old cars for $160ish.
