Are the cv joints on a 2,0. Litre the same on a 1,6 litre mk4 ? Where can i get that info?

Ah Either a dealer or if i get etka sorted ill let you know. Should be able to find a part number for either and compare them.

Ah from what i can see as long as they have the same gearbox i wouldn't see why not. What gear box do either have? Or Both engine codes would help.
