MK4 GTI Timing Belt Change Prices...

im looking at a GTI for my 1st car and the one im looking at and a friend reminded me that at 135k there is a timing belt change... this car has 134k on the clock so im just wondering if i do have to get it done how much? thanks

after pricing or just ruff pricing if anyone had it done in melbourne lemme know

They're due at 105,000klms, but have it checked all the same.

Going rate for a timing belt change is somewhere between $600 and $1000. Shop around.

check the log books, timing belt might be done, may need a service as well.
just pull the timing belt cover off to have a visual or take a mechanic to inspect.

find a VW specialist, maybe someone from here can recommend one in your area or close to it.
Prices will vary, or you can do is shop around.
