Help me with my Mk4 Bora

hey guys.. can someone please help me!!??

i have a 2000 VW Bora v5 2.3ltr. it used to be my mums and has done bloody 175000ks.. its a geeza but it gets the girls! so i want to keep it! hahaha! i want to turbo it.. do u guys no if thats even possible? if so wat do i do!?
and if thats not possible can i swap my engine.. im willing to pay hmm under 10k?

i just want a turbo!!

hahaha.. i gota sell them rims cos the f**** who sold em to me didnt tell me the offset is rong!!! last service i bought brand new brakes n shaved em 50% jus to get the f**** on.. how great!!! haha i want a liberty GT if i cant turbo it!.. and no... i only do black!!

have a look on vwvortex.com there is a few people that have turbo'd the v5. I'm pretty sure there is even a kit out to do it.

Did you buy the rims from a wheel and tyre joint? if so i'd be taking them back.

yes i did buy them from a wheel place.. my dads "friend" wat a BLAH BLAH!! haha im not allowed to swear iv been told off alredy.. which is fair enuff!!.. but seriously it peed me off sooo much wen i found out the offset was rong.. i cant relly take them back either.. im out for sum tempo rims.. anyone help me? im after vault savannahs.. they look decent enuff.. just until i can turbo the BEAST!! i want 19s or 20s tho.. do i have to role my guards?

Maybe you need spacers for those wheels. You can turbo your car but itll cost $$$. Better to sell the car and buy a golf gti or audi s3.

yeh nah i was thinkin spacers but im scared its gonna make my wheel fall off and die!!! haha because the ones u get are pretty thick..leaving me poo all to bolt on.. i duno!!! 1DUB2C wat rims ur mate have? its so hard with the dam germans!! ahah all the fitments n offsets are rong wen i like rims!

The idea with spacers (if you decide to to that) is that you should use longer bolts not the standard ones. The standard ones have a 28mm long thread so if you use a 10mm spacer you need to use a 38mm long bolt. That way your wheels won't fall off.

ohh i seee... yes that sounds like a good idea.. saves me money i can spend on turbo the beast!! where can i get these bolts? do u reccommend ne type of bolts or should i get em from likeeee where i service my car or sumthin..
