    Just wondering if on an 01 GTi they had the wear sensors on the front pads? And if anyone knows the DB part number for the rears?

    Yes they have a sensor, only on front left.
    Sorry don't have part number at hand.

      1J0 698 151 K (1ZD)


      Rear discs
      1J0 615 601 N (1KK)
      1J0 615 601 P (1KS, 1KV)

      Rear pads
      1J0 698 451 P (1KK, 1KS)
      1J0 698 451 E (1KV)


      You'll have to refer to your vehicle data sticker (located in the boot or the service manual) to determine which brakes have been allocated to your car.
