the other night when i was driving with a fellow dubber, if gone to take off hard and heard a large bang and then clunking sounds which i new straight away was something to do with the driveshaft/ CV .
anyways a mate came out with a trailer and got my car and took it home for me and today i climb under to find it actually snapped all the bolts that hold one end of the driveshaft to the gear box :S meaning the left over of the thread is stuck in the gear box
i dont know much about these sorta things but would i have done the CV joint as well ? i wanna work out as much as i can before going and giving it too a mechanic and being ripped. it would be even better if i could just get parts and do it myself..

also i cant see how it would but would the fact my driveshaft and sway bar like to hit each everyday have anything to do with the lead up to this happening??
