  • Centre Resonator/Middle Muffler

Should I even think about getting rid of it? I would love my v5 to be just a bit louder and was wondering how much louder it would be without the centre resonator. Have any of you done it?

Could you explain it in a % noise increase?

I already have a Remus muffler installed which added maybe 40% more loudness.

Hope that all makes sense and Thanks!

Removing the resonator is meant to provide a bit more sound as you already have a second muffler.
It also weighs a bit so you get some performance gain from less weight.

Might be a bit too loud with a sports muffler and no resonator though.

my only thing when touching the exhaust was if I ever had to get a full roady, if it would comply or not.
sure its easy to cut it out and swap another back in but its still a pain.
