Larger side mount intercooler - mk4 golf gti

Hey,

Just looking at options to get a larger sidemount intercooler for my golf gti.

I have seen the forge, eurojet and godspeed options. All seem well and good.

But do you think I could fit a Nissan r34 side mount in my mk4 golf as a cheaper option?

I love a good junkyard upgrade and that looks a close fit!

You would need to get some measurements. I think the standard core is roughly 200x200

Having said that if youre interested in a Eurojet side mount I have 1 left in stock that Im willing to do a good deal on.

Just out of curiosity what is the hole under the right intake hole of the intercooler... is that for some sensor? Do the AGU cars make use of that sensor?

MAP sensor. All the 1.8Ts I have seen have it on the side mount.

your gonna have to block the map sensor part off, mk4 golfs dont have it.
