  • Fitting Coil overs onto 4 motion bora

Who has fitted coil overs to a bora 4 motion?? The type I'm purchasing do not have the mounting point to attach the sway bar link. I'm thinking of changing sway bar and changing to smaller link which is attached to the lower control arm. Has anyone come across this issue and what have you done compensate??

dont go to the control arm mounting point. its a nightmare.
why dont the coilovers have a 4mo connection? because if they are for a FWD version the rears wont fit.

The sway bar link on the 4mo uses the lower strut mount, dont the coils attach in the same way?

edit: If you mean the fronts then sorry, no idea

If I hit em up can they supply quicker than ordering from the UK or USA? I'd love to get em without the hassle of postage!!

yeah id imagine so... you would have to ask how they go about it.
depends what company your ordering from. ECS gear seems to get here pretty quick, i know my tyres from the US get here within 5 working days normally. Other things can take forever.

The place where I got them from said they had a few customers that were having trouble with fk's, oil spilling from the coils after a few months instead of getting replaced I bought the weitecs and never looked back they are nearly triple the price of the fk streetline

Most popular KW and Weitec models will be on stock as of Mid January here in Aus from now on.. Available to KW/Weitec dealers like myself.

Currently we are bringing them in "to order" direct from KW in Germany. It takes roughly the same time as getting them from the US (if the order is processed quickly in the US etc etc etc).

But.. We offer you a full Australian warranty and you don't have to do anything more than tell us what you want and pay the money. The AU set pricing is pretty competitive and you have none of the hassles, but at the end of the day the ball is in your court.
