Mmm to spokey for a mk4 I reckon, also will make your brakes look freakin tiny!(if you have stock brakes)

yeh. i'm in two minds about them.. i really like them and yes they are 18x8 et35.. ive got 6 spoke audi tt rims (7.5" et32 so theyd sit pretty similar - offset calculator says it'll extend 3mm more.

They look like the R32 wheels to my eyes (as per dylan8 ).

Would the 17x7 et48 fit? Cheaper, lighter, better ride and probably better performance (except on a skidpan)

might JUST fit on coilovers... but wouldnt look any good and be a downgrade as stock mk4 wheels are 7et38 (even though the stock wheels weigh heaps!)

any reason your looking at these wheels audi-tone?
if just for a change, im liking the wheels kenbot got, and you can get them in staggered 18x8/9 et30 all round which works perfectly on a lowered mk4.

First off I was looking for ch reps from the uk. Then someone else bought them. Didn't wanna copy.
Then looked at lm reps 19x8.5 et30 on eBay but the seller won't get back to me.
Then thought rs4 in 19x8 - to overdone imo
Then went to look at tire rack for rpf1 18x8 came in at about 1700 plus tax which is ok still thinking about them.
Then these which are in aus brand new. Good price. Decent offset.
It's hard when aus doesn't have much choice and I'm not keen on running staggered or adapters as its not so legal with insurance and all..

Pretty much made up my mind on these; this pic (on a mkv albiet) has pretty made up my mind

*may* run some spacers 5mm front 10/15mm back to really get it sitting nicely.

Never loved wheels that don't have a lot of surface area on mk4s but those look alright and enkei are always nice. How are the new coils coming along? and post up some pics of your car!

Staggered isn't legal up here.. And yeh I do realize spacers aren't legal but they're easy to get rid of if need be.
Also a little worried they'll catch on the front.

Haven't put the kw's on yet. They're sitting waiting for a time when I have time. But you'll be the first to know when they're on

theyll only catch when you try to wind the coils down past the tyre height, then just take the helpers out.
wierd about the staggered, because lots of cars came standard like that

So you could put wider on the rear if you want.

my 245 looked wide. a 275 or something on a mk4 would be insane!

ahh carefully worded i see.. oh well could've run staggered.. anyway, purchased these this morning.. should see them sometime next week.. also purchased some m14 27mm chrome conical bolts from the states for $40. bargain.

cheers for the info dylan, i'm trying to regain some handling back so it wont be that low so it shouldnt catch.. we'll see if i need spacers when the time comes..
off topic, check out this golf, handles like its on rails!
