No Boost??

Drove last night and the car had no boost, gauge showed it was only boosting to about 5 psi. After a while it was fine....

Tonight, did the same thing, but didnt fix itself...is this limp mode???? Do i need to reset???

Ya 5PSI sounds like limp mode...

Reset your computer (unplug batt for 5mins) for now and it'll go away.. if it keeps happening start looking around for possible causes

Hmm tried resetting...nothing its still the same....any other ideas??!?!?!!

All good now....a bit of resetting has fixed the problem...

This is not good I have seen this twice in the mk4's is this reaccuring, I wouldn't be happy!

i dont think the audi ko4 fits?

I'm fairly sure the A4 turbo won't fit a golf.. the turbo housing is slightly different because the engine is mounted differently.

Suit for passat. AUDI TT -225HP 1.8 1999
A4/A6 1.8 1995
A3 220HP 1.8 1997
S3 210HP 1.8 1999

ie - The A3, S3, TT and Golf use the same turbo, but the A4/A6/Passat use a different one.

just get one from a dealer not a ebay rip off to tyr to save money, ecstuning or somthing like that apr do a ko4 kit
