Golf IV Thermo fans staying on

Any help please...recently my daughters Golf IV Thermo fans have started staying on for about 15mins after leaving the car.We recently replaced the Temperature Switch and O'Ring as well as the Thermostat back in June 11

Could any of these new components be faulty or could it be another problem.

i have a subaru that does this as well, i thought it was supposed to happen as a way of getting the car to cool down...

I had that same problem so i replaced the green temp switch with a cheapy i bought from ebay, 6 months later it was doing it again so i replaced the switch again with a oem. hasnt failed yet.
