Don't ever paint calipers red unless they are Brembos or pretty big. But if you absolutely must, take them off the car, and take the time to prep them properly. It isn't hard at all to remove each caliper. Clean them with a wire wheel on a drill piece, then prep them with a rag to remove the rest of the brake dust. Spray hi temp primer, then hi temp paint. You should be aiming for 3+ light coats.
very happy to get rid of my old lights if anyone is still interested... they are just stock, but clean.
car has had new number plates put on, i have stickered a panel (inside the car), i have lowered it, new wheels are currently being sorted out, all new globes (headlights, led tail lights, white internal ect.) new gear stick, head unit, shark fin antenna, vwgolf.com.au sticker (yet to get vwwatercooled) and i think thats it at the moment... OHH and the tow hook is still on... but its black now.
