Sorry mate are you referring to the cams or exhaust manifolds? Haha honestly I'm not sure what gains because it also comes down to what software I'm going to use, and I still haven't decided yet.

Software, thats a world in it's own. I can't decide. I wouldn't mind running the larger dsg maf and a few other little add/bolt ons. Only had a lead on one tuner that has written code for running the larger MAF etc just a shame he's in Germany !. I hear good things from the guys at UnitedMotorsport and their tune from over on the Vortex.

Be interesting to see which way you go mate and your feedback. What the cams set you back ?

So I'm actually leaning towards C2motorsports cam tune, awesome thing is, I can flash my ECU myself with the controller they send, this controller will also have 2 softwares on it, one more aggressive than the other which will be sweet. Hopfully have the cams+extractors+exhaust+tune by the end of this month

Couldnt recomend Arthur and his guys and Exoticars and Lambros at HI-tech mufflers any more, they really know their stuff!

was impressed with the c2 motorsports cam tune when i had my bora (with 264 cams).
was from the UK division though to suit the ECU
Current: '04 Astra SRI Turbo - EDS IPF Flash, 3" TBE, Quaife LSD
Previously: Bora 4mo, cams, coilovers, tune, exhaust, brembo's etc

Mate you say "UK division though" would there be a major difference being a US tune? are the ECU's that different? and just being a flash tune would you think there would be any issues?

i believe they are similar tunes, i just wanted to be 100% sure that it was compatible with the bora engine (as there were 2 different engine codes for my year).
I got them to flash a spare ECU and ship it to me.

Here was the results, much better low end and no dip (this is vs a pre-existing superchips tune, not std)

Been a couple weeks since I have been on here, I veered away from the c2 Motorsport tune for different reasons, mostly because of the messing around back and forth with them to get the tune, so I settled with the GIAC cam file, this tune was specially made for another mk4 r32 with cams that went through Arthur at Exoticars. So i slipped up to syd a couple weekends ago and went and got the tune. All in all I'm really happy with, has smoothed out all the flat spots, and revs out so nicel, just have to get a dyno figure! Now looking at more mods haha
                              Cheers guys

I'm keen to see how it all goes!
