Hi all switching my mk4 rear wiper arm with the mr5 arm, anyone know how to get the mr4 arm off?

Pop the cap off (it just clips in place). Then carefully pry/ease the arm off. A spray of WD40 or some other lubricant might be needed if it's stuck on tight. Be aware that the Aero wiper cap (MKV and Polo are the same) is too "tall" for the MkIV and you need to sand/cut back where it sits against the glass. If you don't it won't clip on properly and you also will scratch your glass. You can buy pre-modified caps from the some of the online sellers like ECS tuning etc.

Cheers for that Trent, I ended up getting it on, I used the mk4 cap! Had the shave a bit off in another spot but seems to fit well!Comment
