Purchased from the dealer like that. It wasn't untill I went to do the air box mod that I noticed no air filter there.... Not a happy comper JAN!!!!
The dealer should be expecting a SCHNAPP KICK to the head.
Following that, you should request:
- New Air Filter
- New MAF...
No air filter, reminds me of a bloke from Liverpool who used his mum's razzamatazz (spelling bugger) as a "Rampod". Bwahaha. His motor swallowed the stockings AND his wallet.

I'm in discussions now with the dealer. It'll be interesting to see what they come back with. Funnily enough, when I drove it home from work yesterday it was fine

This sounds alot like what was happening with my car. You dont have a ****ty little bleed valve boost controller do you? I discovered mine when I first removed the engine cover to install my BOV, what a nasty suprise that was. Way to much overboosting causing limp mode. It still kept the code after restarting the car as well, so a full reset was needed. Let us know how you go.
