  • mk4 parts thread

    Guys,

thought It would be a good idea to have a parts thread stickied.Whether its a good and cheap place to get your oil filter and spark plugs, good place for suspension bits and pieces or a great wrecker you have found.Any place that is associated parts and bits for the MK4.

Post what you found, price and how to contact them.

we'll see how we go and ill sticky it up.

ill start off with my favourite place for the more common parts and oil filter/spark plugs,

    Sydney/Melb/brissy&South aust.
Water pump from vw was over $250 and plastic impellar, from HSY $80odd and brass impellar.I always go there first and see if they have the bit im after.

$250 for a waterpump? Mine cost me $76.50 changeover from VW!

P.S im really lovin the stuff on ebay. Some good shops on there selling OEM stuff for cheap. VAG-team are good and goingfast customs are awesome too.

Tooley Imports at Waitara (give it a google if you want contact details). Not the best in prices, but they can order anything you want in, as long as you have a part number with you. Great service too, nice people.

id recommend you get your rear box from say, remus or sebring etc and take it there for them to make up all the right connections!

                        rears -$73.20

                              Hi,

Are there any more recommended trusted international websites which you guys are ordering from?

120,000km service time here - so cam belt, water pump, oil filter, brake pads + slotted rotors etc to be ordered.

                              Cheers in advance.
