  • Another 'my first Bora' thread..

Yesterday morning I flew up to Sydney to collect my Bora!

After a delayed flight, the seller was waiting for me in the car park and after a quick once over that was that and I was on my way back south. Took the scenic route and stayed in Thredbo overnight so I had plenty of time and road to bond with the car. After a couple of hours it felt like I had owned it for months... I think I'm completely smitten.

I'm aiming to keep it very OEM.. but I have to personalise a little bit..

    What I have planned:

    Cosmetics wise - de-woodgrain, black VW's, de-badged trunk, HiD's
Semi-performance - CAI, chunky rear bar...

Unfortunately money is going to fairly tight once I go back to school, so I am definitely open to suggestion as to bang for buck mods!

Sorry to flood the forums with yet another of these, but I am just too stoked not to share at the moment!

since they are NSW euros, does this mean you get VIC euros when swapping the rego over? or do they charge you more...

Great looking car though, sure you'll have a lot of fun!

I've been dreading the Y plates.. other than the thousand 'YES' ones. 1/676... I don't like those odds.

I have never really been that interested in vanity plates, but YF- is making them look pretty tempting!

QLD goes for ~$600; we get Q XX 99 Y/Z

$700-900. $700 if you get V LL NNN (L for letter, N for number) any others like V LLL NN are 900
