  • Auto Wipers question

    Hey,

I was wondering if anyone else has to flick the sensitivity switch for the auto wipers every time they hop into the car to get them to work.

    Cheers

no...mine work without having to do this. once enough water gets on the sensor then they wipe.

        Thread resurrection!

I am stupid. How do I get the auto wipers to work?

Is it putting the stalk to the intermittent position and then pulling it to squirt water?

        That doesn't seem right?
I assume I have auto wipers because it started automatically wiping on the way back from Sydney when I brought it and it was raining. But I have had issues since.

the first position from off is the "auto" position. You shouldn't have to do anything from there. Sensor will pick up rain and turn on the wipers. The sensitivity can be adjusted by the switch on the top of the arm.
The only thing I have noticed with the auto wipers is there doesn't need to be much water on the screen before they go flat out.

Yep mine does it, I normally keep it on the lowest sensitivity but at times I need to wake it up by flicking the sensitivity switch back and forth
