  • Thinking of changing wheels on my Bora

    Hello Guys

My Bora V5 comes with the beautiful 6 spoke Le Castellet stock wheels, I love the design very much. However, its 16inch size is about 1 inch smaller than what I would like them to be.

But I can't find any 17inch or 18inch replica of this design, so I'm thinking of changing the wheels to 17 or 18 inch Audi RS6 Replica wheels. I've done some Photoshop to see how it looks like.

Have anybody done this before? And what specific dimension should I be looking for when searching for these wheels?

Looking good. You want something like 18x8, offset of 35, centre bore of 57.1, 5x100 stud pattern, and for that size wheel a 225/40/18 tyre.
Try Tempetyres, they do alot of replicas, i picked up some A8 reps for my bora from them.
There is a crowd i have seen advertising them in melbourne also, have a look on ebay

8L S3 wheels are 17" and fit nicely. A set of Bora Sports would also look good (but would be exxy, ~$800). Gen1 Audi TT 17" wheels also fit.

The Audi wheels are 6-spoke, the Bora Sports are 5-spoke. OEM is best.
          Nothing to see here...

$800 for Bora Sports EACH?! Are you referring to the OEM Bravos @ 17x7.5? I've seen 'em being sold by a US retailer on AUS ebay at around $250 each.

You can buy them on eBay for $980 a set brand new ex-US. Not sure how much shipping is yet though.
